Release Notes

New in v1.6.0
  • When using SSO, the run-time now requires less privileges for the host instance at runtime. (Merge of patch 15760)
  • The installer now accepts command line argument AppName= to install the schemas in an arbitrary application. In addition, the installer waits for the schema installation to finish. (Merge of patch 15765)
  • New file name macro %datetime% that works exactly as the corresponding macro in the standard FTP and FILE adapters, in send port’s “SSH Remote file name” and receive location’s “AfterGet File name” properties. (Including merge of patch 15844)
  • Validating ‘After Get’ Actions: Allowed values are now “Delete”, “Rename” or “DoNothing”. Empty field equals “DoNothing” (backwards compatible). (Resolved item 10631)

Fixed in v1.6.0
  • A receive location with schedule no longer triggers when receive location is enabled or host instance started. (Resolved item 7908)

Reviews for this release

I have just tested the adapter on BizTalk 2009 and was able to get it working fine both with username and identity key methods. Tested both with a local and remote SFTP servers (both WinSSHD). Great work bLogical guys!

BizTalk adapter implementation seems very good, robust code, load balancing and a lot of useful properties. The underlying sftp library is not so great, though, because it is probably converted from java using some tool. So if something goes wrong there, it might be somewhat difficult to solve the problem, exception messages are not so meaningful etc. Overall, good prodcut.

Adds support for using key files with pass phrase. Haven't been able to perform comprehensive testing yet, but looking good so far.
