Release Notes

Please notify us of any changes you make. This way everyone can benefit.

After you Run the installation program, start up BizTalk Administration Console. Expand the tree view, and right-click the Adapters node. Select New->Adapter.
In the “Adapter Properties” dialog, select the “Blogical.Shared.Adapters.Sftp v1” adapter and set the name to “SFTP”.
Also run installutil on Blogical.Shared.Adapters.Common.dll to register EventLog sources, which is not done through the installation. This is not needed if the user running the BizTalk instance is authorized to do this at runtime.

Release notes
  • Adapter now supports file Rename on top of the default Delete behavior for Receive, with macro support - you can specify eg. %SourceFileName%.old for rename name.
  • Adapter now has support for a temporaryfilename on Send, with macro support, as well as a temporary folder.
  • Added VerifyFileSize property to Send Adapter - for situations where you have the need to perform an extra check of the file sent, that it is in fact the size you expected.
  • Documentation updated with Dynamic Send port information and updated documentation with Get Started part, using Bitvise SSH/SFTP tools. Allowing you to quickly get started evaluating the adapter.

Minor Changes
  • Adapter now logs exceptions to the Application EventLog instead of a Blogical EventLog.
  • Misc source code refactoring.

Known issues
  • Adapter library requires paths that start with '/' (for receive folder, send folder and send temp folder) or exceptions might occur, but adapter configuration does not enforce this.
  • Adapter installation does not install EventLog sources, this needs to be done manually after the install using installutil on Blogica.Shared.Adapters.Common.dll. This is not needed if the user running the BizTalk instance is authorized to do this at runtime.
