[BizTalk - SFTP Adapter] Execution error

Aug 28, 2009 at 10:11 AM

Hi all,

I've encountered some problems to configure the SFTP Adapter in my Biztalk context.

Here is the error i found in the EventViewer :

Method: Blogical.Shared.Adapters.Sftp.SharpSsh.Sftp.connect

Error: Unable to connect to Sftp host [sftp://myhost:22/path/]

Type: System.Exception

Message: Unable to connect to Sftp host [sftp://myhost:22/path/]

Type: Tamir.SharpSsh.jsch.JSchException

Target: Void connect(Int32)

Message: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found

at Tamir.SharpSsh.SshBase.Connect(Int32 tcpPort)

at Blogical.Shared.Adapters.Sftp.SharpSsh.Sftp.connect(Boolean force)

In my message assignement shape, i've wrote the following code :

msg_TransformOut(BTS.OutboundTransportType) = "SFTP";

msg_TransformOut( = msg_PlannedTask.SFTPHost;

msg_TransformOut(Blogical.Shared.Adapters.Sftp.Schemas.portno) = msg_PlannedTask.SFTPPort;

msg_TransformOut(Blogical.Shared.Adapters.Sftp.Schemas.user) = msg_PlannedTask.SFTPUser;

msg_TransformOut(Blogical.Shared.Adapters.Sftp.Schemas.password) = msg_PlannedTask.SFTPPwd;

msg_TransformOut(Blogical.Shared.Adapters.Sftp.Schemas.remotefile) = "test.txt";

and the send port assignement is :

snd_SFTPPort(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.Address) = msg_PlannedTask.OutDirectory;

I really don't understand where is the problem. Could somebody help me ?

Does it work using a none dynamic sendport?

I have configured a Receive Location and Send Port that both use the adapter.  They connect to two different folders on the same SFTP server but both use the same User Name and Password.

The Receive Location downloads files as expected with no exceptions.  The Send Port throws the exception stated by 'abrachet' above.  I have successfully uploaded the file using FileZilla so there is no problem with the connection.  Am I missing something?

Many thanks

Does it work using a static port?
